Privacy Policy

• Account information: email address and authentication records.
• Profile information: name and driver type.
• Vehicle details you add to your garage.
• Diagnostic activity: symptom reports, warning-light analyses, repair quote analyses, downtime calculations, maintenance items, and questions you ask.
• Visual scan records and the vehicle photos you upload.
• Feedback you choose to send us.

We use your information to provide DRIVE DOC diagnostics, personalize results to your vehicle, keep a history of your past results, respond to feedback, and protect the service against abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

Descriptions and photos you submit are processed by AI models to generate guidance. Results are educational and are not a substitute for inspection by a certified mechanic.

Your data is stored in our managed cloud backend. Uploaded photos are kept in a private storage bucket and are only accessible to your account through short-lived signed links. Access rules are enforced at the database level.

You can permanently delete your DRIVE DOC account in two ways:

• In the app: Profile or Settings → Account → Delete Account. You confirm deliberately, and the deletion runs immediately.
• On the web: submit the form at /delete-account. We email a single-use verification link that expires in 60 minutes. Nothing is deleted until you confirm from that inbox, and we never disclose whether an email address is registered.

A completed deletion permanently removes:

• Account and authentication information
• User profile information
• Saved vehicles and vehicle details
• Diagnostic history and warning-light analyses
• Visual scan records and uploaded vehicle photos
• Repair quote analyses
• Saved questions, results, and account preferences
• Other personal data directly associated with the account

Accounts are deleted, not deactivated, disabled, archived, or soft-deleted. You lose access immediately once deletion completes.

DRIVE DOC may retain limited information only when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes. Any retained information will be restricted to the required purpose and retained only for the necessary period. Non-identifiable aggregated analytics that can no longer be connected to your account may remain. Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are automatically overwritten or securely removed.

Deleting your DRIVE DOC account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Google Play or Apple. Cancel the subscription through the applicable app-store subscription settings. Account deletion is still allowed even if a subscription remains active.
